This is the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla, NC, near us.
It’s bright light shines each and every night, warning ships of dangerous shoals, helping them stay a safe distance out in the ocean.
Jesus talked about lights too.
In Matthew 5:16 He had this to say, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
So just as this lighthouse beacon shines faithfully every night, we too need to shine our lights.
In a dark world, some light is a welcome thing. As our lights shine, I believe people will take note and be drawn to the source of the light (God).
