Bicycle Ride To Edenton, NC and Back!

I had a pleasant bicycle ride with the club this morning.
We left out of Hertford and rode on country roads to Edenton, NC, coming into town along the water front with its stately restored old homes.

Then to this fine coffee establishment, where I had a strawberry-mango smoothee, which was fabulous.

After a couple of brain freezes it all went down very nice.

Then it was off on the back country roads we went heading back to Hertford.
In Tyner, NC we rode past Cat Fish Hunter’s home (the baseball legend).

Past fields of cotton, soy beans, tobacco and other grains we went.

It was quite nice to finish up the 42 mile ride with a tailwind as we arrived back in Hertford.

‘Twas a fine ride indeed, accompanied by good company, good break in Edenton and mighty fine weather!
