Steep Roof!

Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina

I love those shadows, patterns and colors!

Anyhow, this is the Whalehead Club, a restored Duck Hunting Club lodge in Corolla, NC.

Can you imagine being the person(s) to replace the roof on this place?
The steep pitch of the roof would make it very tricky I am sure.

The home was restored to a new lustre in the last 10 years.
It sits right near the Currituck Lighthouse and the Currituck Heritage Park area.
Lots of folks meander around this fine place throughout the year.

I officiated at a wedding a couple of years ago and the wedding party posed in front of this fine place.

It faces onto the Currituck Sound and is visible with binoculars from the other side of the sound in Aydlett, NC.

So there you have it.
Just don’t climb that roof anytime soon!
