They spend their days laying on their backs floating around in the waters near Sitka, Alaska.
They eat sea kelp, clams and other such sea things.
They stay warm by eating LOTS and by primping their fur coats so they stay fluffy (the water is COLD).
When the parents go food hunting, they wrap the little ones in kelp so they stay afloat.
They even have a little pocket in their arm pit area where they keep a rock, which they use to break open the clams so they can eat the meat.
Pretty ingenious if you ask me.
Anyhow, life on your back, and dinner on your lap.
That’s the life of the sea otter.
