Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge…

The Alligator National Wildlife Refuge is in eastern North Carolina near the beach. These photos were taken in 2 places: at one of the plank walkways through the marsh area and along the driving tour section.

I had my eyes open wide watching for other critters such as alligators and red wolves but none were to be found on this trip.

It was a very humid day and there were some sprinkles on our visit. The mosquitos were out and found me quickly.

It was a new place for me. You never know what you may see on this kind of an outing.  I just continue to marvel at the intricate creation of our awesome God. His intelligent handiwork was very evident at each bend.
