Irene We Are Getting Ready For You…

Let’s See, Here’s What We Did To Get Ready For The Hurricane…

– Stocked up on groceries, batteries, water, propane.

– Generator and chain saw are ready for action.

– Outside flower pots and all the loose outside stuff brought into the garage.

– Strange but realistic thinking like: What shall we move out of the part of the house closest to the wall of tall pine trees next to our house? So we can retrieve it if the trees fall on the roof and crash through? Yikes, I don’t like having to think about things like that.

– Plus where shall we stack the computers so they are protected if the windows blow in and the house gets wet?

– We have an evacuation plan if we need to leave.

– We are praying for wisdom, for God’s protection and His peace to handle the situation as it unfolds.

This may sound totally strange, but, I would store the computers in big large plastic trashcan’s (sutffed also with pillows) that have secured clamp lids.

We are praying for your household, Ed & Sandy’s and of course, the children….and will be watching the news intently all Saturday.

    Please keep us posted.

That is a very good idea about the trash cans. Thanks!

Thanks for your prayers. We’re not going to be heroic, but realistic about how we respond to this storm..

Stay safe, Karl! Praying it’s not at bad as they are talking about.
