Bringing Up The Youngsters…

Parenting is a lifelong joy and challenge. It’s something not only done by people but also by all kinds of critters, like Canadian Geese.

I saw these geese families the other day near the Whalehead Club in Currituck Co, NC and I couldn’t resist taking their pictures.  All the while I was standing there taking photos the mama and papa geese were watching me closely. They wanted to make sure I was at a safe distance and not too close to their goslings.   Once I got too close it was time for a swim. Enjoy the photos…

    Such wonderful colors! The goslings are adorable, and the lighting, along with the intense blue in the water (ours tend to be gray) cinch the deal: these are some great photos.
