Bears of New Bern, North Carolina

As I went strolling around the charming downtown streets of New Bern, North Carolina yesterday, I happened upon some fine bears.

They were dressed in various outfits and colors. Each of them looked very dignified. Each one looked as if  they contemplated  some deep topics. Their sculptors did a great job in creating them. Enjoy!

Thank you for these bear pictures. I’ve lived here 11 years and I keep seeing signs on the highway telling me to watch for bears and have never seen one. It’s nice to know they really do exist. 🙂

And as the signs say, “do no sit or climb on bears.” I cannot say I didn’t think of it.
