Cotton Pickin’ Time of the Year

A white crop is blooming along the highways and country roads of North Carolina. You can’t eat it, but once it’s been processed correctly you can wear it. It is in full bloom right about now. It also has a distinct aroma as you drive past it. Here are some shots of cotton growing in eastern North Carolina.
