Aerial Photos of the Pasquotank River, North Carolina

These photos were taken looking west, less than an hour before sunset, just a couple of days ago. I set a very fast shutter speed since I was looking directly into the evening sun. Most of these were at 1/1000 or 1/640 of a second.

We took off from the Currituck Airport heading east. Within moments we were flying out over the Currituck Sound and not far in the distance beyond the Outer Banks, the ocean was easily visible.  Enjoy the shots!

Here are some shots taken today of the Wright Memorial Bridge in North Carolina. It links Currituck and Dare Counties. The body of water it crosses is the Currituck Sound. I took the ground level view shot yesterday afternoon.
